[11:18]<@BC_Programming> neat

[12:00]<@BC_Programming> I can never seem to escape it
[12:00]<Tux2> tee hee. ;)
[12:00]<Tux2> I just fixed an annoying flood issue with tuxreminder.
[12:00]<@BC_Programming> nice :D
[12:01]<Tux2> Yeah, whenever someone had a huge amount of messages it would just spit them all out...
[12:01]<Tux2> making mibbit kick the bot
[12:01]<@BC_Programming> heheh
[12:01]<Tux2> so now it only spits out 10 and there are pages now.
[12:04]<@BC_Programming> so yeah my INIFile.pas freePascal INI file unit actually sorta works... it compiles... ship it.
[12:04]<@BC_Programming> no idea why I made it, but I have a VB6 class and a C# class for it on my website may as well add some more, heh
[12:05] * jacky is now known as jacky_away
[12:06]<@BC_Programming> anyway finally changing the blue fireballs in BaseBlock to do what I originally wanted them to do, which was be somewhat heat-seeking towards the paddle

[14:49]<@BC_Programming> use // at the start of a line
[14:49]<+Mulreay> ahh ok thx
[14:49]<@BC_Programming> or use /* to start the comment, and */ to end it
[14:49]<+Mulreay> Just need to camment out a line
[14:49]<+Mulreay> comment*
[14:51]<@BC_Programming> and tada my home page now has a Videos section that lists all my youtube videos
[14:51]<+Mulreay> I was just on there
[14:52]<@BC_Programming> yeah probably was acting a tad funny... I have this bad habit of messing around with the live pages
[14:52]<+Mulreay> heh, was just reading the news section then had a look over the forum... all your MC pics have been removed in there btw
[14:52]<@BC_Programming> rly
[14:53]<+Mulreay> yep
[14:53]<@BC_Programming> oh photobucket
[14:53]<+Mulreay> I think there just not available anymore
[14:53]<+Mulreay> yeah
[14:54]<@BC_Programming> odd
[14:54]<@BC_Programming> they aren't on my photobucket album either
[14:54]<+Mulreay> tis a mystery
[14:55]<@BC_Programming> big question is why the heck I used photobucket instead of just uploading it somewhere on my site
[14:55]<+Mulreay> I think it was because it originated on one of the glitchpc sites... don't ask me which one could have been any
[14:56]<@BC_Programming> haha
[14:56]<+Mulreay> heh
[14:56]<@BC_Programming> oh r ight, I tried to attach them, and that didn't work, then I uploaded them the photobucket, and that didn't work, than I copy pasted the exact same forum code to mine and it worked fine
[14:56]<+Mulreay> yeah, I remember the problem with the sage advice of 'clear your cache'
[14:57]<@BC_Programming> that's his answer to everything
[14:57]<@BC_Programming> "windows updates are causing BSODs"
[14:57]<@BC_Programming> "did you try clearing your cache?"
[14:57]<+Mulreay> lol
[14:58]<+Mulreay> My computer won't turn on... 'well I would start with clearing the cache'
[14:58]<@BC_Programming> "I can't clear my cache" "did you try clearing your cache?"
[14:58]<+Mulreay> haha lol nice
[14:59]<+camerongray> Woo - Firefox addon is done for unshorten.it
[14:59]<@BC_Programming> cool, good work
[14:59]<+camerongray> thanks
[14:59]<+camerongray> Will let you know when it is ready online

[15:01]<+camerongray> Cool
[15:02]<+camerongray> Well, you can use the extension soon!

[15:18]<+Mulreay> I've spent about 10hrs trying to upload stuff to my new site (templates, extensions etc) and I think I've managed to go full circle.. no matter how many threads I read or how many 'fixes' I try, I seem to end up back at the same spot....
[15:21]<+Mulreay> I may just have to use wordpress
[15:22]<+camerongray> Yeh
[15:22]<@BC_Programming> what are you trying to do though
[15:22]<+camerongray> Or Drupal
[15:22]<+camerongray> g2g
[15:22] * camerongray (Cameron@C79AF9E.CF11D0C9.8368312C.IP) has left #glitchpc
[15:25]<+Mulreay> I'm trying to add extensions and templates through joomla... they generally have to be uploaded through the backend.. the problem is you just get raped with constant errors like 'could not write to directory' (even though it's set to writable). 'Could not create directory, bad response' 'could not do that because I'm just a pain in the ass' and so on and so forth
[15:26]<@BC_Programming> heh... when I want to update a plugin/extension whatever in wordpress I just press a update button and so far that's worked without issues
[15:27]<@BC_Programming> speaking of which it looks like I've a few versions out of date
[15:27]<+Mulreay> Yeah, I used to be able to but now... it's worse than pulling teeth... I'm not alone there are massive amounts of threads on joomla about this roblem
[15:27]<+Mulreay> problem*
[15:28]<+Mulreay> And there is always some smeg head with 'google is your friend' who gets a hefty virtual slap from everyone as we all tried google and were just linked to threads on the same people
[15:28]<@BC_Programming> in the meantime I've just updated wordpress and all my plugins, lol
[15:28]<+Mulreay> heh
[15:29]<@BC_Programming> you shouldn't even have the problem, if the software is said to be "auto configuring" and "auto-updating" there should be some semblance of, you know, automation
[15:29]<+Mulreay> you would think so
[15:29]<@BC_Programming> it shouldn't just say "oh there was a minor issue that I could probably correct manually but I'll instead tell you about it"
[15:30]<@BC_Programming> "also I'll give you an error that is wrong"
[15:31]<+Mulreay> This is my latest error
[15:31]<@BC_Programming> lol one of the spam comments in my queue is asking if I can translate a blog from polish
[15:31]<+Mulreay> http://imagebin.org/162012
[15:31]<@BC_Programming> where did I make them think I knew polish
[15:31]<+Mulreay> lol
[15:31]<@BC_Programming> that is weak
[15:31]<+Mulreay> yep
[15:32]<+Mulreay> Then you spend 10hrs running in circles trying to work out what the hell it wants
[15:32]<@BC_Programming> I can't even be botheredto update my SMF to 2
[15:33]<+Mulreay> I did that a week or two ago... was suprisingly painless
[15:33]<@BC_Programming> well yeah but I've modified my themes and stuff manually
[15:33]<+Mulreay> ahh, yeah I did have to change my whole theme
[15:34]<+Mulreay> my old theme was broken in the new one
[15:34]<+Mulreay> but much better security in 2.0 gold
[15:34]<@BC_Programming> well I've updated to 1.1.14
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> maybe it will actually let me update to 2.0 without doing it manually
[15:35]<@BC_Programming> I think I'll make a full site backup first tho
[15:36]<+Mulreay> yeah I did that.... and a FULL one through FTP as in the whole folder saved to my desktop
[15:36]<@BC_Programming> I'm using the backup feature provided in the cpanel
[15:36]<@BC_Programming> it will e-mail me when it's finished creating the archive
[15:36]<+Mulreay> ahh ok... it's something
[15:37]<@BC_Programming> it takes care of everything; files, and database tables and all that
[15:37]<+Mulreay> As I'm not as experienced I just took the whole folder and copied it
[15:38]<+Mulreay> I already have table/structure backups etc
[15:39]<+Mulreay> I want a 'death stairway'

[15:48]<@BC_Programming> I think I finally found how to make pinnacle studio give me something that isn't a shite resolution though

[16:18]<@BC_Programming> yeah it crashes and says I need Windows 2000 or later
[16:18]<@BC_Programming> which is a tad odd
[16:18]<+Mulreay> heh

[23:09]<@BC_Programming> yeah
[23:09]<Tux2> lol, are you guys playing with my dynamic map?
[23:09]<@BC_Programming> you went to the nearby... thing
[23:09]<@BC_Programming> tux2: http://minecraft.brokedcomputer.com/# :P
[23:10]<Craig> See it missing?
[23:10]<Tux2> lol...
[23:10]<Tux2> I think mine is still cooler...
[23:10]<@BC_Programming> yeah but it's also slower :P
[23:10]<@BC_Programming> or, it was, anyway
[23:11]<Tux2> lol, yeah, it's coming off my home internet...
[23:11]<Craig> I changed the update speed so that you could load the blocks faster.
[23:11]<Craig> hahahaha
[23:11]<Craig> This is probably true Tux, but I was just showing him
[23:11]<Tux2> all the maps combined take up 25GB of space
[23:11]<Tux2> lol, okay Craig
[23:12]<@BC_Programming> I
[23:12]<@BC_Programming> oops
[23:12]<@BC_Programming> I'm starting to wonder if Mojang even plans on releasing a 1.7.3 to fix the dupe bug
[23:12]<Craig> Probably not...
[23:13]<@BC_Programming> hopefully there can be a bukkit plugin that fixes it then :P
[23:13]<Tux2> lol, yeah....
[23:13]<Craig> hahaha Alot of people are using it for infinity cannons and such. :P
[23:14]<@BC_Programming> I just got myself a crapload of diamond, gold, iron, lapis, and pretty much whatever else I've though to do
[23:14]<Craig> hahahahahahha
[23:14]<Craig> exploiter...
[23:15]<Craig> And you got upset with my use of the give command... :P
[23:15]<Craig> jk
[23:15]<Tux2> http://tux2mc.tk/article.php?story=20110526032929747
[23:15]<@BC_Programming> yeah... but this was single player
[23:15]<Tux2> lol...
[23:15]<@BC_Programming> and a new world, so my other stuff is still "unexploited" if that is even a word
[23:16]<Craig> hahaha I see, I see, whatever helps you sleep at night... :P
[23:17]<@BC_Programming> I managed to get a redstone ore block all the way up to my duplicator as well, heh
[23:18]<Tux2> lol, how did you do that ? with pistons?
[23:18]<@BC_Programming> yeah was a huge pain
[23:18]<@BC_Programming> technically I just used one piston
[23:18]<Craig> Why not just build a duplicator down there?
[23:18]<Craig> I mean its two pistons?
[23:19]<@BC_Programming> I didn't want to
[23:19]<Craig> HAhahahaha
[23:19]<@BC_Programming> also my machine duplicates a lot more than 12
[23:19]<Craig> Ooooh, a multi turn machine eh?
[23:20]<@BC_Programming> yeah it's the video in Tux2's link :P
[23:21]<Craig> HAHAHAHAHAA OH WOW!!! Thats intense!!!
[23:22]<Craig> WOW, thats a LOT of diamond.
[23:22]<@BC_Programming> yeah I have like 4 stacks of diamond blocks, lol
[23:23]<Craig> Talk about a manufacturing plant. :P
[23:23]<Craig> Sounds cool too! :P
[23:23]<@BC_Programming> like a factory

[23:58]<Tux2> lol, did you see what CSMRhodes wrote under the entry about the server being on 1.6 still?
[23:59]<@BC_Programming> wow what a douche
